Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn was born on 2nd April 1969. Born as Vishal Veeru Devgan, he later changed his name to Ajay Devgn. Ajay was born in a family where everyone was related to the Hindi Film Industry. His father Veeru Devgan, is a stunt choreographer and mother Veena Devgan, a film producer. He is married to Kajol, a very good actress herself who also happens to be the daughter of yesteryears actress Tanuja Mukherjee.

Ajay made his debut as an actor in Phool aur Kante opposite Madhoo and earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in the film. He then starred in films such as Jigar, Dilwale, Suhaag and Ishq. He earned his first National Film Award for best actor for his performance in Mahes Bhatt’s Zakhm. As of 2013, Ajay has won 31 Awards out of which three are Filmfare and two National Film Awards. In 2003, he was honoured with the Rajiv Gandhi Awards for his Achievements in the Hindi Film Industry.

Ajay Devgn has delivered many critically and commercially successful films as an actor. He debuted as a film producer with his starrer U Me ad Hum in 2008, which fared average at the Box Office. He later established his own production house Ajay Devgn Films.

Ajay has two children with wife Kajol. Daughter Nysa, born in April 2003 and son Yug, born in September 2010.
